Jeff is President of NorthEnd Group LLC, a healthcare services and technology consulting and advisory company. Most recently, he was the Executive Vice President of Public Sector for ValueOptions, a $1 billion a year privately held behavioral health company. Prior to ValueOptions, Jeff was Chief Information Officer and Executive Vice President of Employer Solutions for Magellan Health Services, a $2 billion a year publicly-traded company. He also was President of CIGNA HealthCare Mid-Atlantic, responsible for $4 billion in revenues, 2 million insured lives and 800+ employees. From 1987 to 1998 he was Chief Executive Officer of NYLCare Health Plans of the Mid-Atlantic responsible for all of the New York Life health operations in Maryland, the District of Columbia and Virginia. NYLCare Mid-Atlantic had annual revenues in 1998 in excess of $750 million and provided healthcare coverage to more than 550,000 people.
Prior to joining NYLCare Mid-Atlantic, Jeff was Chief Executive Officer of SkyTel where he developed and built the first satellite-based messaging system in the United States. Before that he was Group Vice President at Informatics, a large computer systems and services company. Jeff has 16 years experience in computer and telecommunications systems management.
Jeff has served on the Board of Directors of the Baltimore Symphony, the House of Ruth, Hospice of Prince George's and NYLCare/Mid-Atlantic. He is a Trustee of Bowdoin College. He graduated, with honors, from Bowdoin College with an AB in Theology and he has an MSTM in computer and information systems from American University.
Jeff is married and they have a daughter who is Bowdoin College Class of 2010.
